HOW TO MAKE EMBROIDERED FLEECE JACKETS FOR LESS

If you live in an area with cold weather, you know the fleece jacket or a mens quilted jacket is best on a cool day.  Everyone wants a great embroidered fleece jacket for those cool nights, but they can be expensive. 

Here's a way to keep warm while still showing off your style, favorite sports team, or support of the troops.

A good fleece jacket will cost around $20 at a department store, you can then dress it up with your favorite team logo or support patches.  Embroidered patches come in most every shape, size, and theme imaginable.  Usually for $3 - $5 you can get a great patch.  They can either be ironed or sewn on.  For fleece I would recommend sewing them on just to preserve the fleece and to make sure it stays put.

Making your own embroidered fleece jacket will show off your style and personality much more than a mass produced item.  I found all these patches at www.stickergiant.com, all were under $6. 

Fashion trends are always going back to "the good old days" of some sort.  Kids and teens in the 70's and 80's used to cover their jackets with patches of bands, quotes, or tv shows.  The trend is coming back, so why not get some patches to show your style and create your own custom embroidered fleece jacket.
